5 days 4 night Bangkok Trip \ ( ^ o ^ ) /

Hello Sunday ~ It's Sunday again....

I always thinking that Sunday is the last day of my lovely weekend, I need to fully utilize my Sunday.

Long time never bother my dreamland... 

It is time to do so... Let me clear off the draft post. =)

I got a habit, I will blog about my trip just to keep for record. 

I'm a forgetful person. =)

27 February 2014 - 3 March 2014 (Bangkok Trip) 

Our first destination... First House Hotel. 

Comfortable, convenient and nice ~

The first food for us in Bangkok. 

Local Fried Rice, yummy !! =D

And, we explored around the surrounding... 

Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan ~ =P 

The Bangkok City.... Wohoo I'm here !! 

Our dinner - McD Samurai Pork Burger Hohoho !! 

We decided to continue our exploring the night scene around the town... 

Street food  - Grill Seafood stall. =D

The squid and the prawn are so BIG !! 

Back to the Hotel Room.

Second day in the morning.... 

The tour guide named Sa brought us to the Maeklong Market. 

What I saw there.... =)

After that, we were moving our journey to Damnoesaduak Floating Market. =)

Our lunch of the day ~ 

My first time to eat Phat Thai... Delicious ~ Happy Happy !! 

After our lunch, Sa brought us to Royal Thai Handicraft Center.

The wooden artworks are so nice !!! 

They are so amazing !!! WOw !! 

Next station - Wat Pho and Wat Arun. 

The entrance fee for Wat Pho is 100 Baht per pax.

Next, Sa brought us to Wat Arun. 

We took the Ferry to cross over the Chao Phraya River to witness the inner beauty of the Wat Arun. 

The entrance fee to enter the Wat Arun is 50 Baht per person. 

Wat Arun Rajwararam also known as The Temple of Dawn, it has been the Royal Temple dedicated to the seconf reign of Chakkri Dynasty. I was so happy to witness the most elegant pagoda which is the famous landmark of Thailand which is located on the west bank of Chao Phraya River.   

Dinner Time !! 

Sa recommended us to have dinner in the Chao Phraya Princess Cruise. 

This is also one of the famous activity which is strongly recommended by Sa. 

It is so romantic to have the cruise dinner with the one you love. =)

I felt so blissful and happy when being loved by someone important. =D

Third day of the trip ~~~ 

The whole day shopping and hunting cheap stuffs.... 

We bought the local food in Pratinum Mall and we dined in McThai. 

Benbi wanna try his favorite fried chicken (Ayam Goreng McD).  

Then, we went to Asiatique. =D

We took their public transport eg. BTS and Shuttle Boat to the targeted location. 

The environment is so nice.

Dinner time ~ 

Someone was sneakily bought his toy during we girls were stuck inside the Naraya shop. Haha !!

Fourth Day of the trip ~~~~ 

According our plan, we went to visit the Chatuchak Market. 

Forgot was sick and she couldn't follow us to the market. =(

Four of us took the Cab to the market. 

The market is so big and we spent almost the whole day to shop over there. 

I didn't capture the look of the market because I was too busy to hunt the favorite stuff at the market. 

Hehe... *Blush*

At night, we went to eat the Japanese Food as our dinner. 

After dinner, we went to shop a while around the town and heading back to the Berkeley Hotel.

The mini gathering session in my hotel room right after the Thai Massage. 

I love their Croissant Bun ~ Yummy Yummy !!

The last day of the trip.... 

Awww so fast !! =(

We checked out from the Berkeley Hotel in the early morning and heading to the airport to go back to Malaysia. 

I found out a lot of different type of pie (Eg : HamEgg Pie and Taro Ginkgo Pie) in McThai which is not selling in those branches in Malaysia. Ho Ho !! 

Time flies, we were back to Malaysia ~ =(

A little snack in KL Central while we were waiting for Colin to come over to fetch us from his workplace. Many thanks to Colin !! =D

The stuffs which I bought in Bangkok. Ngek Ngek ~ =P

Sadly, I didn't get to try the Mango Sticky Rice in Bangkok because I thought it can be find so easily in any Bangkok street. So I postponed the Mango Sticky Rice eating plan and proceed with my shopping plan.

This is totally a wrong mindset when I really want to buy it but none of them is selling it during the last minute. Sigh ~ 

Overall, it is a very nice trip and I enjoyed throughout the trip. =D

My First try in Afternoon Tea Set ♥♥

Yesterday, we went to Milk and Butter to claim my voucher for the Afternoon Tea Set which I bought in Living Social. I was craving for Afternoon Tea Set for so long. I always wanted to try it but it always end up with no chance. I saw they were offering the online voucher for this Afternoon Tea Set deal and I quickly buy it before the deal end. Ngek Ngek ~ 

The Afternoon Tea Set offered us : 

2Pax Afternoon Tea Set (2 Pcs Sandwiches + 4 Pcs Canapés + 4 Pcs Danish Pastries + 2 Pcs Fruit Tart-lets + 1 Slice of Cake & More) with Freshly Brewed Premium Coffee / Tea (RM29)

1) Top Layer : The sandwiches & 4 pieces of Almond Cookies. 

The sandwiches were taste average for me and I dislike the sweetness of the Almond Cookie. The sweetness is just too over for me. =)

2) Second Layer : 4 pieces of Canapés (Salmon & Chicken)

The feeling when I was biting the Salmon Canapés just the same like biting the Sushi. I could taste the wasabi and the salmon while eating them. Haha ~ 

The another type of Canapés - Chicken. 

3) The Bottom Layer : 4 pieces of Danish Pastries. 

- Mini Croissant (Jam)

- Au Chocolate Danish 

- Apple Danish 

They didn't let us to choose, they just gave us 2 pieces of Mini Croissant and I just checked apparently the Jam is supposedly included but they didn't gave it to us. They didn't gave us the Apple Danish maybe the Apple Danish is not available during that day. 

4) The Bottom Layer : 2 pieces of Fruit Tart-lets 

- Mixed Fruit Grapes 

- Berry 

- Mango 

They didn't let us to choose for this time too. They just gave us two pieces of Berry Fruit Tart-lets. The taste is average and it is nothing special. 

5) 1 Slice of Cake 

- Tiramisu 

- Black Forest 

- Strawberry Short 

- Mango Cake

- Raspberry Dark Chocolate 

- Praline Mousse 

- Lemon Meringue Pie 

- Salted Caramel Chocolate Tart 

- Crumble Cheesecake 

- Caramel Coffee Mousse 

- Earl Grey Milk Chocolate Mousse 

They allowed me to choose 1 slice of cake from their cake display. The choices are limited and some of the cake listed above were not there and I just randomly choose Mango Cake for us. 

6) 2 Freshly Brewed Premium Coffee / Tea 

I choose the deal without the free flow of coffee and tea. I personally thought that we don't need to pay for extra RM 10 due to we don't drink a lot of Coffee & Tea.

Sasa also came along with us to try his Big Breakfast set due to we strongly recommended to him after our first try. But, the Cafe seems already changed their menu. Now, they launched out their Standard Breakfast set (Scramble Eggs + Baked Bean + Raisin Bun with Jam + Mushroom & Hash Brown) is selling at RM 14 and you can choose to add on other breakfast item listed in their menu. 




















Finally I had tried the Afternoon Tea Set. =)

This is Sasa's bill ~ He added on the Lamb Sausage 4 inch (3 PCS) for RM 7.00 into his Standard Breakfast Set, he didn't like it according to him it is too oily and he said Bondai's Breakfast Set is nicer. 

Overall Rating:

Service : 4/10

Food : 5/10

Drink : 7/10

Environment : 6/10

Cleanliness : 5/10 (Cutlery)

At night, Sasa brought us to the Pizza & the Pastas Cafe which nearby to his house. He said the pasta is very nice and he introduced us to try there.
